As part of its continuing professional development activities, ACAL, in collaboration with ASM, the Lloyd’s Agent in Lebanon, has compiled a “Marine Insurance Fundamentals” package of 5 training modules as follows:
Module 1- General Knowledge of Marine Insurance & Intro to Marine Claims
Module 2- INCOTERMS & Carriage of Goods Conventions
Module 3- Institute Cargo Clauses (ICC) and other clauses
Module 4- Stages of Claim & Claim Adjustment
Module 5- Claim Settlement, Subrogation, Recovery & Reinsurance in brief
These modules are intended for new-comers, junior professionals and as a refresher for senior professionals in the marine insurance industry across all functions (underwriting, claims, sales and marketing).
The training sessions shall be delivered in consecutive order over Five Months, two-half days per module each month.
The first session (Module 1) shall take place on Wednesday & Thursday May 7th & 8th, 2025 between 01:30 PM and 04:30 PM online via Zoom.
